STRONG STARTS HERE

A gym where young people are welcomed, encouraged and given the space to grow.

We believe health, strength and fitness should be part of growing up.

The habits we build when we're young can stay with us for life.

We want young people to understand the value of moving their bodies, getting stronger, looking after themselves and feeling confident in what they can do.But it goes beyond exercise.

Young people deserve somewhere positive to go, people around them who believe in them, and an environment where they feel safe, welcome and part of something.

That's what we're trying to create at Ironworks.

WHY YOUNG PEOPLE MATTER

We don't think the gym should be something you discover when you're 30.

We want young people to understand strength, movement and looking after themselves from the beginning.

But we also want them to have somewhere positive to go. Somewhere they feel safe. Somewhere they know someone will notice if they're having a rubbish day - and celebrate with them when they're having a great one.

MORE THAN A GYM

One of the things we're proudest of is the community our younger members train alongside.

At Ironworks, young people aren't kept in a separate bubble. They train alongside adults of different ages, backgrounds and abilities.

That means they see people working hard, supporting each other, showing respect and turning up even when things are difficult. We've watched younger members grow in confidence under the watchful eye of older members who genuinely want to see them do well.

Sometimes the best role models aren't standing at the front of a class. They're simply the people training beside you.

KIDS CLUB

A chance to learn, move, get stronger and have fun.

Our Kids Club gives younger members the opportunity to learn the basics of strength training in a safe, supportive environment.

It's about much more than lifting weights. It's about learning how to use your body, building confidence, developing good habits and enjoying being active.

And yes - they're allowed to have a bit of fun while they're doing it.

HOME EDUCATED KIDS CLUB

Learning doesn't have to happen at a desk.

Our home educated kids sessions give the children the chance to get active, learn about strength and fitness and spend time other home educated young people.

It's a regular opportunity to get out, move their bodies, build confidence and make friends in an environment where they feel welcome.

Because education is more than what happens in a classroom.

TRAIN TOGETHER

You don't have to find childcare to get your training in.

We believe training can be part of family life. Parents are welcome to bring their children into the gym and train alongside them.

it might be a parent helping their child learn their first exercises, a teenager training while Mum gets her session in, or simply a family sharing the same space.

You get stronger together.
